Please report this facebook page

Please report this facebook page Please report the facebook page "Ban ALL kids from ALL public places" I’m all for free speech, but this facebook page is just disgusting. It certainly shouldn’t be on facebook, which is a site that supposedly has standards of decency. I’m not on facebook right now because of Lent but I was reading recent quotes from a screenshot of this page and I have never seen anything more vomit-inducing. The page owner and members celebrate the death of children. Yeah, they rejoice over toddlers being hit by cars or charred to death in fires. One woman even said she hoped that a small child would be eaten from the inside out by fire ants. It’s one thing to not want kids, I understand not everyone wants to be a parent, but rejoicing over the horrible deaths of children should not be publicly acceptable. If you are the kind of sick person that would do that, go sit in your home and gleefully laugh at stories of tragic deaths. Your sick hate-filled crap shouldn’t be out there for everyone to see. If this were a page where men were rejoicing over the terrible deaths of women, racist supremacist people rejoicing over the terrible deaths of people of other races, or straight people rejoicing over the terrible deaths of gays it would be taken down. I hope to God that none of those people ever come in contact with a child alone. Please report this page and reblog. Thank you.

A short, sad post.

What is wrong with this world? Maybe I'm paranoid, but I truly fear for my daughter's future.

No, they do not need their kids taken away.

I really, really dislike people who throw around the phrase "they should have their kids taken away." The only people who need their kids taken away by authorities are abusers and neglectors. Why bring this up? The holier-than-thou, judgmental twit who in the comments on this article said that these parents should have their little ones taken away because THEY WERE AT A LATE MOVIE. *Gasp!* She also calls them "unwed breeders." Wow. What a nice, caring human being. I'm sure she's PERFECT and has NEVER made a wrong decision that affects HER kids. Yeah, right. I agree with this article. These parents need compassion, not judgment.

Does anyone else think this?

I just wonder if I am a horrible person if every time a woman identifies herself as a “sex-positive feminist” I think “easy-peasy lemon-squeezy.”

Foul Language

If there is anyone reading this blog who hasn't read my old posts...here is a warning now. I was young when I wrote them, and angry. I started this blog in 2008, but I copied my blog posts from my MySpace account, so some of the posts I wrote as early as 2006. There is some coarse language and crude humor. If you are offended by either one of these things, my earliest posts might not be for you. Try my tumblr. It's fluffy. It's not really a blog, but I use it for visual and spiritual inspiration.

Women, don't be gross!

To the oversharing facebook acquaintance: Do you really, honestly believe that all 200+ of your facebook friends want to hear about your period? I'm a woman myself and I don't particularly want to hear about other women's periods. A discreet conversation with a close friend is one thing, perhaps a quiet chat about after-pregnancy symptoms or something similar, but do your high school friends, your one night stands, the guy who is only on your friends list because you had one class with him in college, do those people really need to hear about you being "on the rag?" REALLY? Learn some manners, have some class, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!
