Please report this facebook page

Please report this facebook page Please report the facebook page "Ban ALL kids from ALL public places" I’m all for free speech, but this facebook page is just disgusting. It certainly shouldn’t be on facebook, which is a site that supposedly has standards of decency. I’m not on facebook right now because of Lent but I was reading recent quotes from a screenshot of this page and I have never seen anything more vomit-inducing. The page owner and members celebrate the death of children. Yeah, they rejoice over toddlers being hit by cars or charred to death in fires. One woman even said she hoped that a small child would be eaten from the inside out by fire ants. It’s one thing to not want kids, I understand not everyone wants to be a parent, but rejoicing over the horrible deaths of children should not be publicly acceptable. If you are the kind of sick person that would do that, go sit in your home and gleefully laugh at stories of tragic deaths. Your sick hate-filled crap shouldn’t be out there for everyone to see. If this were a page where men were rejoicing over the terrible deaths of women, racist supremacist people rejoicing over the terrible deaths of people of other races, or straight people rejoicing over the terrible deaths of gays it would be taken down. I hope to God that none of those people ever come in contact with a child alone. Please report this page and reblog. Thank you.

A short, sad post.

What is wrong with this world? Maybe I'm paranoid, but I truly fear for my daughter's future.

No, they do not need their kids taken away.

I really, really dislike people who throw around the phrase "they should have their kids taken away." The only people who need their kids taken away by authorities are abusers and neglectors. Why bring this up? The holier-than-thou, judgmental twit who in the comments on this article said that these parents should have their little ones taken away because THEY WERE AT A LATE MOVIE. *Gasp!* She also calls them "unwed breeders." Wow. What a nice, caring human being. I'm sure she's PERFECT and has NEVER made a wrong decision that affects HER kids. Yeah, right. I agree with this article. These parents need compassion, not judgment.

Does anyone else think this?

I just wonder if I am a horrible person if every time a woman identifies herself as a “sex-positive feminist” I think “easy-peasy lemon-squeezy.”

Foul Language

If there is anyone reading this blog who hasn't read my old posts...here is a warning now. I was young when I wrote them, and angry. I started this blog in 2008, but I copied my blog posts from my MySpace account, so some of the posts I wrote as early as 2006. There is some coarse language and crude humor. If you are offended by either one of these things, my earliest posts might not be for you. Try my tumblr. It's fluffy. It's not really a blog, but I use it for visual and spiritual inspiration.

Women, don't be gross!

To the oversharing facebook acquaintance: Do you really, honestly believe that all 200+ of your facebook friends want to hear about your period? I'm a woman myself and I don't particularly want to hear about other women's periods. A discreet conversation with a close friend is one thing, perhaps a quiet chat about after-pregnancy symptoms or something similar, but do your high school friends, your one night stands, the guy who is only on your friends list because you had one class with him in college, do those people really need to hear about you being "on the rag?" REALLY? Learn some manners, have some class, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!

Babies Don't Keep

Mother, O’ Mother, come shake out your cloth, Empty the dustpan, poison the moth. Hang out the washing, make up the bed, Sew on a button and butter the bread. Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking. Oh, I’ve grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue, Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo. Dishes are waiting and bills are past due, Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek - peekaboo. The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew, And out in the yard there’s a hullabaloo. But I’m playing Kanga and this is my Roo. Look! Aren’t his eyes the most wonderful hue? Lullaby, rockaby, lullaby loo. The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow, But children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep! I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep. ~ Ruth Hulbert Hamilton

Femininity

It's OK to be feminine… I am sick of the ultra-feminists who want to remove everything sparkly or feminine from toy shelves because it is “harmful” for little girls. As a girl I loved outfits, sparkles, flowers, bows, singing, dancing, dolls, dress-up and fairy tales. I remember constantly being ridiculed for it by the “sporty” girls, P.E. teachers, and occasionally my own friends and family. Empowering little girls is not just about letting them play sports or do science experiments. It is about letting them be who they are and do what they like no matter what…barring anything illegal or immoral of course.

Why?

Why do people associate women’s equality with the supposed “right” of a woman to kill her baby when she doesn’t want it? What about the man? What about the poor baby? A woman’s right should never trump that of another human being, no matter how small….

Ultrasounds are NOT creepy!

22nd Jun 2012 Yes! The people who think ultrasound pictures are "creepy" have no understanding of the beauty of motherhood. I have one of my daughter's early ultrasound pictures framed:-)

Some thoughts on adoption

I just want to say that I am fully supportive of adoption. I am pro-life and believe that even if two parents have no use for their precious biological baby, someone else will love them. If I find out I can't have any more kids on my own, you can bet I will try and adopt! I have several friends who are either adoptees or who, when they were very young, gave a baby up for adoption to another family. However, I do think that in some cases unethical adoptions take place…for instance when one parent’s rights (usually the father) are denied, or living relatives who may want to raise the child aren’t taken into consideration, or when the biological parents are very young, social workers, agencies, and their own families coerce them into giving up a baby that they very much wanted to raise. I think adoption can be a beautiful, wonderful thing for all parties involved…as long as it is done ethically and no one’s rights are trampled on in the process.

Enabling is wrong.

26th Jun 2012 | 1 note Hateful brat attacks 3 year old with scissors and chops off her hair, judge says he will reduce her sentence if her mother cuts off her hair, mother whines that punishment was too harsh. Not to mention, this 13 year old had previously been in trouble with the law for threatening to rape and mutilate another girl. Classy. When I was a kid I would have been pushing the little one on the swings or helping her throw a ball. My daughter is 1 now, if a teen did this to her I would have a few harsh words to say to her mother, and if MY kid ever did this (and in my family we teach right from wrong) you can bet there’d be some haircutting. She’d be in a crew cut AND serving the maximum time! The mother is complaining that "an eye for an eye doesn't teach kids right from wrong." Well lady, it looks like YOUR methods aren't exactly working!
Restitution cut for North Carolina eugenics program victims. Governments should not have a right to decide who should and should not be having children. Sure, some people aren’t good parents, but just because they are “poor” or “uneducated” or whatever labels they want to put on people, doesn’t mean they will be bad parents.

German court rules religious circumcision a crime

28th Jun 2012 German court rules religious circumcision a crime While I don’t think it is completely necessary, parents should have a right to circumcise their child if it is their religious tradition. More government overstepping boundaries and trying to parent everyone.

A vomit-inducing story

29th Jun 2012 | 1 note Parents like this make me sick.

Yourself

"To be nobody but yourself in a world that's doing its best to make you somebody else, is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting." --E.E. Cummings

Happy 4th

I still love this place, even if it isn’t the place I grew up in. I will love the U.S.A. until I feel that there is no love left for me here.

Pro-Life, Pro-Woman, Anti-Abortion message from Ireland...Beautiful

Get educated! Web Sites about abortion.

Silent Scream

This web site shows an abortion from an ultrasound point of view. Not for children. Also has other resources.

Abortion Instruments

This web site is VERY graphic. Shows a video of abortion procedures and pictures of aborted babies along with pictures of abortion instruments and descriptions of how they are used. This web site is NOT for children, and I wouldn't recommend this one to the faint of heart.

I posted these links for educational purposes only, not for shock value.

I am an anti-feminist because...

1. I'm actually quite fond of my father, husband, grandfathers, male cousins, and male friends.

2. I do not believe that American women are at all oppressed! You want to see oppression? Visit Afghanistan. You are not "being oppressed" because you are expected to dress appropriately at work.

3. I am against no-fault divorce. There should be a damn good reason for breaking your vows. No, the need to go out and "find yourself" is not a good reason.

4. I enjoy the traditional roles that my husband and I have in our family. He works, I work part time and spend most of my time taking care of our home and our child. He consults me about household decisions, but the final say is his. My daughter and I are well taken care of, and we love and appreciate our "patriarch."

5. I do not believe in abortion. Every life has value, no matter how they came to be, who their birth parents are, or what disability they have. For those of you who blather about it being a`"woman's right" to choose, what about the man? What about the BABY? What could such a tiny innocent being do to deserve such a fate?

6. I do not believe in the notion that marriage and motherhood oppress women. I am a homemaker and I love it!

7. I believe that mothers and fathers have equally important roles in a child's life. Without one or the other, you can tell that something is missing in a child's life. I've been around enough children to know this!

8. I believe that men and women are equally important but made differently. There are always exceptions, but women and men typically bring different gifts to a relationship.

9. I believe that men and women were made to complement each other. The current "battle of the sexes" society makes me sad. Why battle one another when we fit together so well?

10. I do not believe that every man has a desire to rape women! Men are not all dangerous. Most are just regular guys. Husbands, fathers, friends...there is no reason to be suspicious of each and every one.

Men and women should be considered equally important in society, but it has been proven time and time again that we are very different. I strongly believe that God made us that way for a reason, and feminism has made millions of women very unsatisfied with their lives by spouting their propaganda and insisting that the opposite is true.

Men: Not all women want to dominate you and take you for all you've got.

Women: Do yourselves a favor and stop listening to feminist propaganda. You will be a much happier person.
